ACCESSORIES
We offer various accessories to match our One Seven® compressed air foam systems. These include several versions of nozzles like hollow jet nozzles, round jet nozzles and extinguishing lances – each suitable for different operation scenarios. Our accessories have been specially developed for use with our systems and therefore guarantee optimum compatibility. SHUT-OFF DEVICE
The One Seven shut-off device is the basis of the complete One Seven nozzle system. The hose connection is made via a coupling connection. For safety reasons this connection cannot be opened either intentionally or unintentionally when under pressure. The coupling connection is mounted on the shut-off device with ball bearings and can rotate freely. This ensures unrestricted mobility of the nozzle operator.
The various nozzle attachments are mounted in a matter of seconds via a self-locking bayonet catch. Just like the hose connection the nozzle connection cannot be disconnected either intentionally or unintentionally when under pressure. However, when the shut-off device is closed the nozzles can be removed and replaced just as quickly as they were mounted.
ROUND JET NOZZLES
One Seven round jet nozzles are ideally suited for the use of compressed air foam as an extinguishing agent. Because of the discharge as full jet the high throwing range of the One Seven foam can be used optimally. The round jet nozzle allows it to apply a large quantity of foam over a long distance. For a more universal use we recommend the combination of our round jet nozzle and the “Nozzle Flap”.
One Seven round jet nozzles are available with opening diameters of 16 mm (for 1.0“ discharge outlet), 20 mm and 25 mm (both for 1.5“ discharge outlet) and 32 mm (for 2.5“ discharge outlet).
"NOZZLE FLAP”
The impetus for the development of the One Seven “Flap” came from Scandinavian fire departments who wanted to use their round jet nozzles more flexibly. The “Flap” is simply mounted on the front of the round jet nozzle instead of the red synthetic ring. With the help of the “Nozzle Flap” the One Seven foam can be fanned out and discharged more widespread than with the round jet nozzle. For this purpose the stainless steel flap is pressed into the foam jet manually, thus fanning out the foam. When working with the full jet the flap is folded back and held by the fingers of the guide hand completely relaxed on the shut-off device so that it cannot get into the foam jet accidentally.
HOLLOW JET NOZZLE
The One Seven hollow jet nozzle has been developed for flexible operation in firefighting. The external attack is carried out with full jet and high throwing range, the internal attack with spray jet for self-protection and for effective spraying of walls, ceilings and objects.
The jet shape is adjusted by turning the nozzle head. A “pointer” on the nozzle head facilitates orientation as to which spray angle is currently set.
EXTINGUISHING LANCES
The One Seven extinguishing lances consist of an approx. 1 m long stainless steel tube with a specially hardened tip. Just like the other nozzles the lances are attached to the shut-off device with a bayonet adapter. The extinguishing lances can be used for quickly and safely extinguishment of areas which are difficult to access, such as insulation in hollow walls, car engines or stacked goods. The One Seven extinguishing lances can also be used to wet deep-seated pockets of embers.
The extinguishing lances are available in the “Defense” version with lateral holes in the area of the tip and in the “Attack” version with additional holes directly in the tip.
